\nThis amazing recipe for cherry dump cake is sure to get your mouth watering! This recipe is beyond simple \u2014 no stirring or baking required! Let the slow cooker do all the work. The hardest part is waiting for it to be done!
\nYou\u2019ll need:
\n1 large can of cherry pie filling
\n1 box yellow cake mix
\n1 stick butter, melted

\nPro Tip: You can also make your own pie filling using frozen or fresh cherries, which allows you to control the sweetness:
\nTo make your own cherry filling, you\u2019ll need:
\n4 cups pitted cherries
\n1 cup sugar
\n3 tablespoons cornstarch
\n1 tablespoon lemon juice
\nQuick directions for cherry filling: Heat the cherries in a saucepan until the juices begin to release. If you are using frozen cherries, simply thawing them will do the trick. Add the sugar, cornstarch and lemon juice and combine well. Stir constantly over low heat until the filling is thickened.

\n3. Pour a melted stick of butter over the top.
