A few years ago, when I was less aware of the moody nature of our drainage, I unwisely decided to throw several leftover cilantro stalks through the trash. (Yes, I agree that was a mistake!) As expected, the garbage disposal seemed to work, but the water refused to flow. Looks like he was make fun of me!<\/p>\n

To my relief, it worked like a charm! I managed to escape the crisis and the conference that day. The effectiveness of this method can be attributed to the fizzy, non-clumping reaction that takes place between the vinegar and baking soda.
