Being in constant contact with water, it is difficult to permanently solve the problem of limescale and dirt accumulation in the toilet.\u00a0When limestone absorbs dirt, it takes on a dark, annoying color.<\/p>\n
This is why it is essential to apply the following advice both to prevent the appearance of limescale and to eliminate existing limescale.<\/p>\n
Limestone is made of calcium carbonate, an alkaline compound, so it requires an acid to dissolve and remove it.\u00a0Vinegar, for example, is a very useful product in this regard.<\/p>\n

Vinegar and Lemon
\nThe acids in both ingredients dissolve toilet stains and limescale deposits, also eliminating odor-causing microorganisms.<\/p>\n
Mix 100ml of vinegar with the juice of one lemon and spray on the toilet surface.\u00a0Wait 30 minutes, then flush the toilet and use a damp cloth to clean the exterior surfaces of the toilet.<\/p>\n
Bicarbonate and hydrogen peroxide
\nThe combination of these two ingredients has the particularity of whitening surfaces, and is therefore perfect for darker limescale.\u00a0In addition, it has a disinfectant effect.<\/p>\n
Mix 80 grams of baking soda with 2 tablespoons of hydrogen peroxide and use a sponge to scrub the solution onto surfaces.<\/p>\n
After 30 minutes, rinse with plenty of water and voila, a very clean and fragrant bathroom.<\/p>\n\n
